I dont know if this means anything. Never had a pregnant dog. But any how here it goes. My dog woohoo is swollen and I dont know how far along she is .because She was at my grandmothers house when this happened but she has been there for a few months.Because I was there for awhile been out of there for a month.what could she be swllen from?

Since she is bred already, the swelling will be present during most of the pregnancy..but it will get larger as the whelping time is near. when it is large AND soft, it will soon be time for puppies.
Milk will come it between 2-21/2 weeks before whelping.

Usually they are swollen when they are in heat or about to have puppies. They are pregnant for 60 to 63 days on an average. So she could be getting ready to have puppies!

Your dog may be in heat.
Her vulva will swell up when she goes into heat.It will last for about three weeks and be swolen for about a month or so and then shrink up after that. She will go into heat about once every six months. Get your dog spayed. It will reduce her risk of mamary cancer and she will not go into heat all the time.Much better for her health.

The dog is probably just in heat.As she progresses through it about the second week she will be attractive to the neighborhood males so keep her on a leash. Then when it is done get her spayed! The correct word is vagina!

Chances are she is just in heat and you may notice blood drops around the house over the next week or so.

It gets swollen when she is in heat, and if she is mated,it will stay slightly swollen throughout her pregnancy, as will her breasts be a little larger also.
