Dish soap always did the job for my grease & sauce stained clothes.

I rub a quarter size amount of dish soap on the stain & add some cold water to the stain. Then, I let the water & soap sit in the clothes overnight...or until whenever I actually put them through the washer.

Rub washing up liquid (for dishes) into the stain, leave overnight. Add cold water and a little more liquid the next day, then put in the washing machine as usual. May take a few applications, but should work unless they're very old stains.

Depends on the kind of stain. But for grease/pasta sauce: Pretreat them with laundry detergent and/or stain remover (rub it in really well) and then soak in hot/warm water. Then launder like normal. And tell your kids to be careful when they eat, or wrap them in plastic when they eat. (just kidding about that).

Oh, and it's better to do it sooner rather than later - you're more likely to get the stain out before it sets.

Dishwasher detergent works great on food stains. Not liquid dishsoap for the sink, but dishwasher. Mix in in the sink with water and soak/rub the clothes. If it is stubborn, let it sit a while and check again. Launder as normal when it disappears.

That oxyclean spray really helps. Not just on fresh stains, but old ones too. Just try to get the clothes treated ASAP after an accident in the future if you can.

I was told goo-be-gone will get grease stains out of clothes even if they have already been washed and dried.

I use "Spray and Wash." Sometimes I put a little Tide on the stain and rub it in and then put the clothes in the washer.

Pre-treating the cloth is your best offensive. There are many degreasers out there for you. I had three children and the best thing I ever used was degreaser soon after getting the cloth dirty. You have to scrub a little.
