My baby 's father is afro american and she is 7 months old. After how many months will I know if she will have his black coarse hair she currently has straight hair.

Girl love your childs hair, we know now she won't have your hair or his, she will have her own hair and be her own person which is not bad huh, she's made from the both of you out of love. Our hair tends to change until we are about 8-10, which is one reason I never recommend putting relaxer on young childrens hair. Keep it moisturized if it starts getting really curly and dry looking, but not greasy. And just wait to see what beautiful crown she ends up with. If it gets to the point where you don't know what to do or how to style, find a stylist that can help in your area, pigtails are best for little girls though, so they can stay that way as long as possible, so you've got a while.....
