I have two young kids and am getting divorced. My husband is very abusive and has ran away back to Mexico (where he is from) so that he wouldn't get in trouble with the cops. I want to move away possibly to another state to get a fresh start where his friends and family can't keep tabs on me. I wanted to know if any one out there has done this and did it help? Thank you!

I moved to a different city, coz we dont have different states here in New zealand... but yes, I made the move and I met great peole and have much moe freedom and a new man now..
Go for it, you will love yourself for it... plus you get to reinvent yourself and be what ever you want to be.

Listen a fresh start is really what you need. Look at the map and find you a place where you can raise your kids without any hastle at all. I will even suggest a place for you. Move to Orlando, Florida. Jobs are plenitful, weather is nice and education is great also. Disney and the other resorts practically guarantee you a job if you get in a bind, year round. Fresh starts in most situations like yours in the long run truly are the best. Do it and you will never regret it.

I did and have not looked back. Go girl, and move if it is in your heart to do so, best decision I have made, and am doing fine. Good luck to you.

I DONT SEE HOW IT WOULD HURT. IF THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL SAFE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT, GO AHEAD.
