you might lose 200-250 calories from jogging at a speed of 4.5-5.5 mph for one hour. But since you are bicycling, it'll be 60%-70% of that which is 120-140 calories. It's less because bicycling has momentum that pushes for you. 49 miles a week will probally lose you around 1,200-1,300 calories every week. (49 divided by 5.5 times 140) That's only the calories. If you have a slow metabolism due to a bad diet, you'll probally lose weight slowly. If you ate right though, you'll probally lose 5 lbs.

depends on how much peddling you do, and how much cruising you do. cruising downhill on a bike and jogging downhill is 2 different things
