Choose your favorite # and multiply. Example 6 x 1, 6 x 2, 6 x 3 = 6, 12, 18. You will probably lose but don't we all?

It doesn't matter. Mathematically there is no difference what you pick. The only impact your choice has is how many people you split any winnings with, which is also fairly random unless you pick something common. If you have the option just let the machine pick, if not go buy some dice and roll them.
