I haven't been to either in years but I vote for Peets. I agree with this:

6. When you go to Starbucks and ask for a "Large Decaf", they give you a 20 oz. "Venti", not a 16 oz. "Grande", even though "Large" is the precise translation of "Grande".
5. When you go back to Starbucks the next day and are careful to ask for a "Grande Decaf", the girl at the counter corrects you with barely concealed derision: "Decaf Grande".

Also, with Starbucks, I could never tell the difference between a normal frapp and a frapp with an extra shot of espresso - I felt like I was being ripped off. And finally, Starbucks has the worst watered down hot cocoa I've ever had - even Ovaltine is better.

Peets. They began the total espresso craze. Starbucks changed into began by using an ex-Peets worker. I want Arabian Mocha Java and/or significant Dickison i purchase the beans and grind my own.

I have never been to Peets.. And I only go to Starbucks around Christmas for their mocha-peppermint coffee.... It is DELICIOUS! I make my own coffee at home the rest of the time. Cannot see spending that kind of money of something so simple to make.

Definitely Peet's if I want some good, strong black coffee that will wake my *** up!
I only go to Starbucks for their blackberry green tea frappucinos.

starucks is so good! theyre like cheap too... everones saying there expensive but whatever theyre not!
