I would go out with a firefighter as long as he is a good decent man who shows respect for a woman, not because he is a firefighter. A woman who goes out with a firefighter just because of his work is in it for reasons other than love. It would be the same as a woman who likes a man for his money, but when the day comes that something goes wrong and the money is not there, they leave. I just want someone who I can love and trust and be with for the rest of my life and God forbid something happens to him that he end up in a wheel chair or something, I would still be there for him because I love him and not just what he does. I wouldn't date you because you're a firefighter. I would date you for the person you are inside. Although, I don't think I would marry one because of the high risk position. I wouldn't want to start each day having to worry about whether or not the one I love would be coming home. It would be too stressful a life. However, each day given to all of us is another "chance" - anything could happen. Firefighters, policemen, etc. are at a much higher risk that's all.

If i found a guy i really liked and he happened to be a firefighter then sure, why not! But i wouldnt just go out with him BECAUSE he was one...

my dad is a firefighter and I never dated one just becuase he was a firefighter it was becuase they were all that were around me. I am married now and my husband is not a firefighter so NO would be my answer..

No, if I met a firefighter, and he was cute, but had a crappy attitude, I totally wouldn't date him, even if he is a hero....

i would - fireman are hot! not the only reason they have to be intelligent, kind, not a player. and hopefully they are in shape, there are some firefighters who are not.

Not me, I am dating one, but he has the package to go with it, looks, honesty, personality, and humor. His ex I think dated him only because he was one, she liked to show him off to her friends and always had to have either firemen shirts or hats. I think she is still out there looking for a life!!!

l once made a document movie on firefighters...
they were so hot-literaly on fire....lol
all the girls in my highschool wanted to date any of them
but they were married except one who had a few pregnant g/fs...whatta shame!
