I know what you mean. I think the anominity of the internet allows people to speak their mind and be as nasty as they want to be. They feel like it is OK to demean and mock Christians (or other religions) but then wnat you to accept their beliefs. Go figure. I guess it is just human nature and as the world gets closer to raprture, things get worse. Best piece of advice is you cannot hold a non-believer to believer's standards.

I don't have a problem with talking about your beliefs. That is what this country is founded on. It is wonderful to be able to be free to talk about what you believe. But there is a fine line between saying what you believe in and saying that anyone who doesn't believe the same is wrong, or is going to hell. The foundation of Christianity is loving all people no matter what they believe. When you judge others for their "differentness" you are actually going against one of the highest laws of your religion.
That is what I do not like.....and I'd bet that is why others get angry.

I don't go to the religion section, I hit all categories and respond to questions that intrigue me like this one. Your premise is correct as far as it goes, however in almost every category, someone will ask a question like 'should I get my hair cut before school starts because I want to change my image'. Inevitably there will be someone who says, 'Have you met Jesus? He's the best way to change...' or some such drivel. That is what I consider shoving your religion at me. What does that have to do with a haircut, for Christ's sake. (sorry). But you get what I mean I hope.
I am perfectly happy with my relationship with God. I don't need someone doing their missionary work on me.

I love your explanation. But the answer to the question is simple. It's either oops or real or let's see or just seeking something other than the mundane rewardless ways of th nonbeliever. I was one - crossed over - much better now!

Each day at first by just a smidgeon
You will be freed from your religion
In it's place you'll gain more reason
All this before the end of the season

I am commanded by my lack of faith to save you.
Would you let a man jump from a cliff? You are the man ... your faith is the cliff.
Faith. Cliff.
Cliff. Faith.
I like to click myself.

maybe they think they can sway our way of thinking, or maybe what we say gets to them and they have to say something negative to justify the way they think..those who don't know God look for meaning in their life, some part of them is not whole, they come here looking for answers.
