Each day at first by just a smidgeon
You will be freed from your religion
In it's place you'll gain more reason
All this before the end of the season

Please notice this is a "freedom from" spell.

Reply to Sleepy Toads...: I was born a wizardeven though I am an atheist, it doesn't stop me from being able to cast "freedom from" spells..they are not spells of compulsion but they make room for other paths to be opened up.

Clearly you never tried this spell on yourself or you would know that it's unreasonable to believe in spells!

I guess you're having a bad day. Your spells aren't working to well. It seems based on the account of your peers, you should go back to read your handbook.

But just so you can keep at least one star in your hat, (smile), I'm even praying that religious folk become less religious and more reasonable. And as a few of your peers said, "You short-circuited your own powers through a spell like that."

FYI-Christians (in our arrogant way) don't believe that spells can work against us. We believe that spells and witchcraft are from Satan and demonic beings. The only power that can be had is what is given over by the Christian. And on a final note before I retire for the evening, Christians don't consider themselves religious.

However, with every religion, you have fanatics.

I'll pray for you.

Although I understand your sentiment, I believe that doing this is an infringment on free will and could be harmful to that person. That person may need to be like that to learn an important life lesson that they are meant to learn -- or are perhaps meant to teach someone else an important life lesson by being the way they are. All we can do is be patient and tolerant with them. But I definetly don't think spells to consciously change people is the way to go.

Not only that, but your spell makes it sound as if they are releasing ALL of their religion -- not just making them less fanatical. Some people like being that way, so we should let them be.

This is an infringement on someone's free will, which is a major no-no when conducting any kind of spell work.

Perhaps you should read more about Witchcraft before you start practicing it. I suggest you read "The Truth About Witchcraft Today" by Scott Cunningham.

Wicca is also a religion, you'd be weakening your own spells.
Even a Wiccan(spell caster) knows that everyone must have freedom of choice or all power is lost. Even the earth gives us a choice.

Feel free to send out that prayer, but realize the power of freewill. This energy may influence them when there is something to work with. But this prayer, spell, meditation will not force the change to manifest itself. It's always good though to put good will out there. Just try not to expect dramatic results.

Even if the spell does work, God will still take care of me. Which, I suppose, means the spell can't work.

Hmm, I get accused of being too rational, logical and reasonable. Funny, since I also get accused of being too religious. Confused yet buddy?

Wow. Way to screw with someone else's free will, there.

Wouldn't want to be in your shoes when that one comes back to get you.
