i dont really want it to have human names

This is a sheltie, and they have many different colors, they are not tan either, it's called sable and white, black and white, and they even have a greyish blue color, i know cause i just got back from the Houston dog show.....Border collies are a different breed all together, but yes border collies are indeed blk/wht!

Good for you for going to a dog show!

And yes they come in bi-black and blue merle, as well as bi-blue. Just so you realize, if you plan to show, that bi-blacks can be pretty tough to finish, although they CAN finish.


Border Collies also come in liver and also tri-color (black/white with tan points)

Patch, Spot, Mix, Oreo, Grey (you know, black and white make grey,) Snert (after hagar's dog) or find out the words black and white in several foreign languages and use one of those. In Swedish, it could be called svartvit (pronounced svart-veet) for black&white. Color notwithstanding, there's always Paws, Rover, and Hey-you.

If you give your new pup lots of good attention, he or she will come to anything.

well get the dog and watch the personality on the dog so you can give the right name one comes to mind how about sheltie.

shelites are not white and black...

there tan/white

and your probly getting a border collie....there black and white.
