I dont know why it is hard for people to beleive in somthing so amazing. Im not trying to critisise anyone but how can anyone make up such a large book of wonderful things God did? They cant just make all of this up. I mean God made the world. He made me and everyone on this earth. Weather you love him or not he loves you and no one has the mind the intelligence to make somthing up like this or to tell people that this man who DIED for us is real. No one could possibly do that so could someone either support me or help me on this?

You are a perfect example of what is known as a Babe In Christ. That means you believe, but are possibly a new Christian who really hasn't searched out the truth or gotten to know God for any length of time.
Study, pray, put in years of time and you will not be so blindly naive.
I am a Christian too, but the questions you ask above show real spiritual immaturity. Yes, God loves you and has given you this blind faith to hold you over until you mature in His love and understanding. Do not be discouraged. Search these things out for yourself.
They can't just make all this stuff up....yes they can. That's what libraries are for, made-up stuff.
Hold on to your faith, but try to search a little deeper so that you will know WHY you believe.
Blessing to you. Enjoy the journey for the rest of your life. Also....remember to have fun along the way. The joy of the Lord should not be ignored.

God put us here to see if we would believe and choose good over evil. If he knew it would be so easy to do then there would have been no point in doing it. God gave us this test because he is weeding out those with no faith. Faith is going to be required to move on to the next level. Those without faith and the ability to choose the right will be left in a place (not hell) where they can not progress but will be eternally stagnant. Not growing or increasing themselves. We however will become like new and ever growing ever changing always progressing and learning. More and more Christ-like all the time. You can not save everyone. There are a few out there, the "elect" waiting for someone to find them. When someone says no, love them (agape not amore) and move on. Find the faithfull. Peace.

Why is so hard for u to leave the people who dont believe in a God .... ALONE !!!!
And the book (bible) u are talking about was made by normal, human, men, not directly by any God.... so this means that maybe not all the real information whats on it.
Is not about being an Einsten and tell people that there is a God, but the religion just want the human being to be afraid, not to think for themselves, not to be free.... u just prove my case.

It might be a good idea that you do a some reading outside of the Bible. You will find that the myths and God concepts of other cultures are no less (and no more) believable than yours. I also suggest that you read or listen (Cd's are available) to the incredibly insightful works of Joseph Campbell. He's a one of my heroes.
I was raised Christian and it took me decades to free myself from the religious conditioning of my early childhood. I am free of the automatic reflex to believe in and pay homage to such cruel and repulsive concepts as original sin, eternal damnation and human blood sacrifice. Without the religious conditioning of my childhood manipulating my mind I truly have free will. I am certainly more at peace than I was as a Christian, when I had to believe that God was a sadistic monster who would torture, for an eternity, good and loving non Christian people.
Instead of asking people why they can't believe in your religion ask yourself why you do.

I totally understand. I believe in god. I am a Roman Catholic, but I don't exactly think like the church. I think god tells different cultures different stories of how many god there are, or who is spreading the Lord's word, or how to live life. I think the Lord wants some amazing cultures in the world. How boring would it be if we all were Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Hindus, Jewish, Islamic, or whatever. If I were god, I would want the world to be fun. God has to be real.

Yep, I totally agree with you. I understand why some people don't understand tho, I remember when I wasn't saved yet. I didn't understand it either.
Being a Christian is all spiritual, and if they haven't asked Jesus into their hearts, then they won't understand it. The Scriptures say that God is Spirit and all who worship Him must worship Him in Spirit. It is a spiritual thing and a faith thing, and if someone has neither, well then how can they understand?
I like this site tho because alot of questions are being asked and that's always healthy.

I would like to put forth the notion that you and I are both atheists. The only difference is that I believe in one less god than you. When you can tell me why you don't believe in all those other gods you will understand why I do not believe in yours.

the book was never written by this god . its a book of stories by people that had no physical proof of talking with this god. plus if you really read the bible you will see that it contradicts itself . I'm roman catholic but I don't believe in it . How could a church be against gays if god is supposed to love all and why is it OK for the priests to have GAY sex with little boys . Ask your god that. The catholic church should be ashamed of itself.If god is so nice and loves all children then why are their children born with deadly illnesses? Why does god let little children get killed by crackheads ? sorry god don't help me with anything he gave me parents that didn't give a crap that's a real loving god. that's why Innocent baby's are born to crack moms . yea really a nice god my a*s

I dont believe you have read the bible to say god did wonderful things, either that or your sadistic.
And I believe that Jesus was real, he was just a normal man though, lived his life and then died. He is not my savior.
I believe in a god and a goddess, and I am happy with my religion.

I think they don't understand because they have no desire to. They want to do things their own way, stumble blindly through life, without any real purpose or meaning. If they listened to the Word and believed, then they couldn't do their own "thing". I have personally found so much peace since being saved and joining church. I miss no part of the old life.
