well you see nobody knows the origin of the universe
christians just belief they know but don't actually have any evidence, other than a 2000 year old book written by the equivalent of cave men by todays standards of knowledge.
Evolutionist don't claim to know the origin of the universe
They claim to study it and life
evolution is being more and more proven every year
check it out if you're one of those open minded christians

Finnally a good question involving proof. Most of the time I answer very dumb proof answers, but this one is good.
First of all the Catholics do not believe in Evolution. Where ever the answeror heard that, they need to recheck there facts.
Now as for your question, even though I do not believe in evolution I will attept to answer it.
First you have to understand science has many therories how this happened. However they have to facts.
The one that I like best goes something like this.
A solitary cell can not live that long without many things. So these solitary cells made other cells or joined together to protect themselves. This caused them to not be destroyed that fast; however it was still not enough, so they added more and more until the first organisms were formed.
These organisms had to eat, some even ate other organisms. This made them get larger and larger. The other ones had to adapt also, so they wouldn't all be eaten or destroyed. They developed things like poisens and such.
The big ones eventually evolved into small animals, while the others evolved into many things like insects, bacterias, ect.
Some of the small animals ate these other organisms, even the ones with poisen. They evolved do to the poisens. While others ate other small animals and such. I could go on and on, but I think you can see where this therory goes.
See in the begining it was all about survival they had no choice what they evolved into by adding other cells.
After a while it was about adapting into certain different creatures.
Now as for your 2 eyes, 2 ears, ect. point. There probably was creature with only one or differrent, but they were easy prey. Remember thier are some animals with different sences and some with more eyes then just 2.
Again I do not believe in evolution, however it is still a therory. As for wieghing things out there are new evidence that has been found that kind of supports it. The truth is there is evidence for it and against it. No side outwieghs the other side yet.

You seem to believe that life can only exist in its current form and that the environment of Earth must have been deliberately created to suit us. You have things backwards.
If the environment of Earth was different, life on Earth would have evolved differently and humans would be different than we are today. Humans evolved to match the environment, not the other way around.
It's funny that you ask questions that only science can answer in an attempt to discredit science. What is your religious reason for why humans have 2 eyes, 1 nose, and 1 mouth? You are going to say we have been shaped in the image of God, right? Have you personally seen him? How do you know he has 2 eyes, 1 nose, and 1 mouth? Even if he does, why? The "image of God" response just ignores the question. It doesn't answer it.
There are scientific answers to the questions you asked, but we both know that you don't care about them. You've made up your mind already based on the fairy tales you were told as a child. There is no point in providing answers that you will only ignore. I'm going to stop wasting my time on this "question."

questions 1 and 2 have no answer because the organism didn't determine to do anything. 2 cells got together by random chance and were able to work better than a single cell...just as 2 people working together can accomplish more than one.
question 3. as I just stated the more cells began to work together then better they became at getting resources and evolved into higher and higher life forms..by the way many one cell organisms still exist.
questions 4&5 again these questions are flawed...the cell didn't dtermine its own destiny, and many life forms have only one eye or totally different sensory organs...look real close at seafood....
question 6. the current conditions ...organisms evolve to best fit into whatever the current conditions are
question 7 yes...of course...you can see it today... a polar bear is evolved for a very differet set of temperature and humidity than an elephant or a lizard

It makes a lot more sense than, "I got my faith from a book."
1) a single cell doesn't care if it is a higher life form or not.
2) its structure is determined by function.
3) the individual cells work together to form a higher life form. They don't do it on their own. Have you studied college biology?
4) symmetry is found throughout the universe.
5) evolution carried forward the traits that proved successful
6) water, heat, oxygen and tides
7) yes, there is a range of acceptable conditions. Some days it is cold and other days it is hot yet life lives on.
One of these days those with "faith" will come to realize that trying to influence others is actually hiding doubts in their beliefs.
Common sense says sex isn't evil.
Common sense shows that a book is generally fiction.
Common sense indicates that the odds of any one religion being correct are unlikely.
Science will kick your gods ***.

a million. If evolution is genuine, why are there nevertheless monkeys?---cutting-edge monkeys haven't to any extent further something to do with the Evolution of cutting-edge guy. both species have developed from a hardship-free ancestor 2. Why is evolution nevertheless only a theory?--The clinical procedure. look it up. 3. Why do human beings nevertheless trust the idea of evolution even after Darwin reported that is incorrect?--Technically, that's incorrect. He purely admitted others had made better discoveries, thereby enhancing his unique theory. 4. How can evolution be genuine if it violates the 2d regulation of thermodynamics?--How does it do this? 5. Why do evolutionists nevertheless count number on abiogenesis even as Louis Pasteur disproved it centuries in the past?--He did no such ingredient. stop twisting issues round. 6. Why are not there nevertheless any transitional fossils?-Ah, yet there are. Fossils are o.k. hidden. If I instructed you in looking a poultry bone buried someplace in Oregon, you've a tough time looking it. or perhaps you probably did, you should nevertheless might want to prepare it replaced into MY poultry bone. similar ingredient with fossils, buried all around the earth. even as they're got here across, that is hard to verify precisely what type of bone that is. because it isn't conceivable to assert definite that's THE lacking link, human beings interpret that to point there aren't any transitional fossils.

Evolution is based on the fact that things "mutate".
Meaning, some people get cancer, while others get a higher number of white blood cells.
Some dogs are born with messed up eyes, others are born with 6 toes.
Anyway. What I'm saying is no animals decided to develop the way they did. They developed the way they did because the random mutations that happened happened to help them.
In most cases, animals don't change to match their environment, they change their environment to match their abilities.
Besides, how are you going to explain the evolution we see taking place to today even. Just 100 years and some birds in Africa are already genetically different than they were 100 years ago. Even with different physical characteristics.
Also evolution does not discredit the hand of god. It just means that the entire bible cannot be taken literally. Which it can't. If you do, it contradicts itself and becomes a big fat lie.

Yes, evolutionary science has the answer to each of your questions.
The fact that you think otherwise simply speaks to your lack of education.
You argue from ignorance and then act arrogant about it.
By the way, I have no intention of giving you a lesson on evolutionary science, which is a topic that is typically taught for a full semester in college.
If you want an education, go get it.
If you want to sit back and draw false conclusions based on 2000 year old mythology and your laziness in ever trying to understand evolutionary science, then go right ahead. Frankly, if you want to wallow in ignornace, science doesn't give a damn. It will continue to move forward with or without you. (Clearly you've already been left behind) Science doesn't care about gaining followers or if you don't agree. Science concerns itself with getting the correct answers, whether those answers be convenient or not.
You really need to grow up and get an education about a topic before you try to dismiss it.
You clearly have no idea about the rudimentary basics concerning evolutionary theory, yet you think yourself qualified to dismiss it. For that, you are ignorant and will likely remain so until you bother to actually examine the evidence for evolution and step away from the fundy websites.

1. Genetics
2. Genetics
3. Evolution, genetics
4. Genetics
5. Genetics - same reason you don't have 2 noses
6. The ones that were present when it happened
7. Possibly; that's speculation
I'm not an evolutionist, I just believe in the science of evolution rather than the fairy tale of creation. I also do not rule out the existence of a spiritual aspect to life, just the "Adams rib" and "let there be light" nonsense.

Keep in mind they beleive we came from a rock that got wet and the universe came from a spot no bigger than this period....sorry just one of them! Which came from nothing! So here is what they beleive (though most don't know it!)....
From nothing to a dot..the dot exploded became the universe the earth was a big rock that was rained on for millions of years which became soup that (some how got the information to become life? But no one know's how!) became alive with single celled organism's that became everything!
And they rip on Religions! When their Religion is as far out there as any I have heard!
Good luck and don't step on your Great Grandpa on the way out of the house!!
