Does the owner carry any responsability if one of the underaged "drivers" who is not their child is involved in a wreck resulting in minor injuries? Totalling the vehical?

The owner of the vehicle, as well as the parents of the underage driver will share responsibility for the damages. Depending upon the laws of the state where this all took place, their insurance may be void as they allowed an unlicensed driver to operate the vehicle. The owner's liability coverage may handle third-party claims, but will pay nothing for the vehicle itself and probably nothing for any injury to the underage operator(s).
If the driver is not the child of the owner, the driver's parent(s) will be partly liable for damages, and their auto insurance will pay NOTHING at all for any of it. If they have general liability insurance, it MIGHT pay.
At any rate, all involved parties need to consult with an attorney immediately. This is likely to get VERY expensive for all of the parents involved.

Underaged child...obviously, if the kid has no license, why let them drive in the first place? You're a parent, show good judgement..no $hit you'll be responsible, because they're all underage!!! If you have to ask the question, or have doubt in your mind, then that means it's wrong....duh...!

If your child was the driver, yes, you are responsible, and it doesn't matter what other parents did or didn't do. If he was just a passenger than probably not.
