Isaiah 34:14
Songs of the Sage (4Q510-11) of the Dead Sea Scrolls also mentions Liith in a context similar to Isaiah 34
But in both of those she is mentioned as being a demon. So where does the belief come from she was Adams first wife.
First time lilith is mentioned as being the first wife of adam is in a medieval work called The Alphabet of Ben-Sira however, contrary to popular belief, the The Alphabet of Ben-Sira is not a Jewish religious text; rather, it is a collection of perverse stories about heroes of the Bible and Talmud. Modern historians are unsure of its original purpose, although it may have been a collection of risqué folk-tales, a refutation of Christians, Karaites or other separatist movement, or simply an anti-Jewish satire

Apparently you have never read the Bible!
Adam never had a wife named Lilith! Either you know that and are a troll or you follow some strange religion that nobody has ever heard of!

Well the way I heard it was that Lilith ran away because Adam wouldn't treat her as an equal and he forced himself upon her. She ran east to some river and God's angels went to see her and told her to return but she wouldn't. And she mated with fallen angels and spawned demons. And she has power over uncircumsized males or something. When a baby laughs they say Lilith is tickling him, and if a baby dies of SIDS some believe lilith took him. In some folklore she was very hairy, almost like a beast, and in other folklore her upper half was very beautiful but she had legs of fire.

the only wife that Adam had was Eve. Jehovah God took the rib from Adam and made Eve. no one else. I don't know why people think that Adam had another wife, it is a lie. anybody who thinks that Adam had a wife name lilith is lying to you. read Genesis

Although Lilith is said to have spoken for equality, her insistence to be on top actually connotes her feeling of superiority over him--not merely equality.
When God spoke words of condemnation and prediction in the third chapter of Genesis, He indicated that women in the future would struggle to become head over the man.
That raises the question...is there something innate in women that desires to be the superior one in a relationship with a man (home, work, church, society, etc.)?

According to the legend of Lilith, it was because she wanted to have carnal knowledge too often, and Adam simply wanted to tittle with the plants and animals. That's Jewish myth anyhow.

Adam did NOT have a wife before Eve. GOD created Adam, and then he created Eve then they populated the Earth. Yeah, then cousins got with cousins, thats how the Earth was originally populated.

Adam had a wife??? I thought he was like the guy from that old t.v show Kung-Fu. You know, destined to walk to earth alone. Maybe i should not read my bible and watch Kung-Fu at the same time. I think that was a dream.
