And this is my memorial to all generations, why don't the world call upon him with the name he defiently wanted to be remember by? If I call my brother whose name is Mark by a different name, can I expect him to answer me? In 2 Corinthians 4:4, Satan is referred to as the God of this world (II Cor 4:4 in whom the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving). Does this prophecy fulfill the prophecy written in Rev 12:9 (9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, Is it possible that the world is being decieved into worshiping Satan and not Yahweh because you are worshipping a God whose name you don't even know and not calling upon Yahweh with the name he gave for his Memorial? I think so. Worship Yahweh Rev 14:7. Rev 22:4 (And They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.) May Yahweh bless your understanding.

Yes Yahweh is the name of God, but, translated into western languages its Jehovah, witch all the while still means "I am who I am". You know how the Jews take the saying of Gods name so highly and respect it so, they won't even say it on any occasion. So we as Christian are not cammeting any serious affence to God when we dont use it.
Also 2 Cor 4 is not prophetic scripture, It is proclaiming that as Christians we should proclaim Christ as Lord, not ourselfs, which by the way most arminians and catholics have troble understanding that we are totally under Christ. There is no pocket size Jesus, there is Christ the God. But I think Jehovah's Witness do have a point about hthe use of Gods name though i still do think that we are not commiting offense when we do so.
But, never refer to God as She!!!=) Not saying you did just saying.

You can call God Yahweh if you want, He knows who you mean. I can call Him God and He knows who I mean. I don't know what you are talking about though because in Exodus 3:13 Moses asks God who he should say sent him. God replies in verse 14 tell them "I AM" sent you, not Yahweh. "I AM" means in Hebrew: "hâyâh
haw-yaw'
A primitive root (compare H1933); to exist, that is, be or become, come to pass (always emphatic, and not a mere copula or auxiliary): - beacon, X altogether, be (-come, accomplished, committed, like), break, cause, come (to pass), continue, do, faint, fall, + follow, happen, X have, last, pertain, quit (one-) self, require, X use."

So no, I don't think we are being deceived into accidentally worshipping Satan.

The tetragrammaton is also and more widely translated as Jehovah. This name is used by millions of worshippers of Jehovah God all over the entire globe. Jehovah's witnesses are also actively trying to make his name known to all people, everywhere. If you just pray to "god", how will he know that you are speaking to him? God is just a title, similar to Lord or Mr. by using his name, Jehovah will recognise that you are approaching him personally in prayer.

"Forever" does not mean for all eternity.

God had many names and titles too.
He was called the I AM, Melchizedek,
Elohim, Lord, Prince of Peace, Jehovah,
and finally Jesus...and even then He was given
a New Name that is a secret at present.

One cannot just go with one Scripture. Look at all
the Scriptures relating to His Name and then you will know.

Jesus' hebrew name was Ya'shua. Jesus is not a accurate translation of Yashua which means "Yah(weh) saves" YET, the apostes spoke Greek and they spread the word of Jesus by calling him "Iesous". Were the apostles (Paul) wrong?? The most important thing is that we believe in the God of the Bible, if not then we are all decieved>

Yahweh is Hebrew for "he is". Sounds like when he was talking to Moses and said , "My name is "I am". God chose to identify Himself once again with a description, not a name, like your brother Mark.

He doesn't tell us His name. I think He does that on purpose to keep mankind from blaspheming His name. (The unforgivable sin?...maybe, that's just a thought)

You need to do some more research into the origins of christianity. Try some gnostic texts. Yahweh was not the original name for our creator.

Yahweh ment LORD( capitalized when applied to God in The bible of the Christian Faith) and was used in v15 in that context... it is a title not a name... In v14 God said "...I AM THAT I AM...Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you"

If you read in v15 God clearly says that his name is I AM .... refering to what was given in v14....not to the title Lord(Yahweh).

God never said his name was Yahwey. The name of God cannot be pronounced.
