Don't worry, scratching a mole is nothing to worry about. Specially if it's a mole you've had since you are a kid. I have thousands of moles and every now and then accidentally scratch them... I'm still alive and healthy as you can be.

I would recommend however, to keep an eye on it. Make sure that the size and shape doesn't change (it will look a big bigger while it heals, but should go back to normal in a week or 2).

It can't hurt to make an appointment with a dermatologist and get what they call a baseline assessment. They will go over your entire face and body and make note of any moles or skin conditions you have NOW, so that when you go back at some future time they can determine if there's been any change. While you're there, they can check on your mole. If you've had it your whole life, it probably does not indicate a serious condition, but they might be interested in the fact that it bled. As with any any case of breaking the skin, such as picking at a mole, a scab, or anything else, you have to be sure to use a disinfectant to discourage bacteria from collecting.

It is potentially dangerous. Infection may set in in the mole. Doctors also tend to remove moles that start bleeding as well. There is an issue with them turning "funny" if they do that.

Probably not. I have a mole that got really dry and scratchy and my dermatologist just told me to put lotion on it and stop scratching it. Just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't change. If it's bothering you, get it checked out by a dermatologist or even your primary care doctor.

Moles should always be checked out by a dermatologist and he will decide if it should be removed or if it is harmless. You should always watch them and take notice of any change in them. If they change, immediately, go to a doctor to have a biopsy done. They do not hurt.

well... if it's a perfect round mole then it is not cancer but if it's round and with no colour then it's a sexualy transmited viruse which is not dangerous but u can have it removed easily

It could be skin cancer. Have it checked out.
