I was wondering , if I was to purchase a 2007 Toyota Camry from The USA, would I get the $2600 tax rebate from the US government and then again $2000 from the canadian government or would I only recieve the money from Canadian government. If I get it from both thats a savings of $5000. Anyone respond!

You get the tax rebate when you file your taxes after each year. You would get the rebate from whichever country to pay taxes to....seems like Canada in this case.

Keep in mind, with free trade you can import an American manufactured vehicle to Canada tax-free (other than GST PST)

you would most likely only receive the money from the canadian government.

yea, they would probably base the tax rebate based on your residence address, so that would be canada only....
