I'm looking for a puppy because im supposed to be getting one and i want to go today but i cant find information if they're open today.

I don't know where you live, but the one in the county where I work is not open to the public Saturday afternoons, Sundays, or holidays. A worker may or may not be there taking care of the animals, though.

It is really hard to say since we don't know the city or state you live in! all cities/states are different! so my advice is to look them up in your phone book and call them!! have fun with you new puppy when you get it!! They are most likely not open for adoptions which will take several days anyway. they do not just pass out dogs. You will need to fill out an application and pass their screening process which may take several weks
