We met online (eharmony) and she has a 5 year old girl who is very cute. I've met her daughter once and she has told me she would rather not bring her along for a while because she's not ready to answer her questions. I like her (the mom) alot and I think she likes me. What is the best way to approach this?

Respect the fact that she wants to wait before she starts bringing her daughter along for a while. At that age, children get very attatched to people. If she knows who her father is, she may begin to question why her mother is with this other man. At that age group, children as a lot of questions about anything and everything that they see. The mother might want to establish a good relationship with you before she brings her daughter into it.

Follow the lead of the mom. If she wants to go slow, respect that decision. 5 year olds ask a lot of questions and. Plus she may want to wait to introduce the two of you when she's sure you'll be sticking around. No sense in letting the daughter get attached if you're not going to be there next week.

just let the mom bring her daughter when she wants to.
maybe shes not comfortable letting a small child like that meet a new boyfriend that the mom has thats someone other than the father.
just let it go and she'll be ok with it eventually.

The same way you would any other girl you like. Get to know her. Let her let you into her life at the pace that she's comfortable with.
