i'm 19 and i still live at home. i communte to college because its easier that way...well i thought it would.

but whenever i'm online i'm suppose to take phone call but i don't because i know my younger brother will be on it for at least half an hour with each person.

my brother then gets my mom on my @$$ about it. or he'll come down and yank the internet cord out of the wall.

thats when mom comes in...then if it gets really bad dad will get into the mix.

i told my mom that my brother needs a job so he can just get a cell phone....

if my brothers would mock her she says nothing but when i do she bites my head off. *i have 3 brothers at home now 21,17,and 15*

Which one, the 15 year old or the 17 year old? And where is your older brother in this? Why isn't he helping you out in this matter? Are you the only one in college?
This may sound harsh, but, the next time he does that pulling the cord out of the wall, I would beat the sh!t out of him! Then, if my parents asks "why", I would tell them that I am trying to do my work and cannot have him waste time on stupid bull sh!t when your grades are more important. If that does not get them to see the picture, I would talk to my counselor or someone at my college, tell them the problem, and see if they can find me a place to stay! Get from there, Because if that a$$ kicking does not tell your a$$hole of a brother or your mother something, LEAVING there and paying more attention to your studies then to them will really make them understand that your studies are important!
Really. Kick his a$$! Explain that you will break his arm-and then try to do it-to let him know you are tired with his bullsh!t. DO NOT,I repeat DO NOT buy him a cell phone! Let Mommy or Daddy be the sucker to buy him one!
Good Luck!

Your brother needs to get a job & a life.At 21 I got married & joined the Army.Try convincing mom & dad to get dsl.The lower speeds still leave dail up in the dust & are fairly cheap.

LOL. Poor girl. I am sad that I was an only child. That sounds exactly like ANY siblings I ever knew. I guess the only thing I can say, is that you don't have that long to put up with it, you're almost done.

Maybe you should get the job and move if you are unhappy.
