How recently did you adopt her? It took my Bichon 2 weeks to eat anything much. He was ok after he adjusted to his new home.

Dont let her con you into giving her table food. It's not enough nutrition and tends to be too high in calories. A fat dacshund will have back problems.

She will eat when she's ready. I know it sounds cruel, but in the long run she will be better off.

First check her teeth to make certain that she doesn't have a problem chewing or have infected, red irritated gums. This could keep her from eating dry food. If there doesn't appear to be a problem with her teeth or gums, then place the correct amount of dry food in her bowl each morning leave it down for 15 minutes. If she eats it fine, if not then pick it up and offer it again to her that evening. Do NOT feed her table scraps, she is training you to feed her what she wants that way. She can go without eating and harming herself for about 3 days and if she thinks she can hold out for scraps then she will try it. But she needs to learn to eat a good quality dry food. Which means one that has a meat as the first ingredient, like chicken, beef or lamb. If corn is the first thing, then it is mostly filler and it takes more to feed them and it means more to scoop in the yard later.

The pickey little dog has been spoiled.
Put down a good high quality dry diet and stick to it.
Give her 20 minutes to eat and take up the food. Do not feed her anything until the next feeding time.
If you give in a feed her something else you are teaching her that if she waits long enough something better will come and she will get that.
It is hard but a dog will not starve itself to death. And if you can hold out and not feed her she will learn.
This works and I promise it will work for your dog also.

STOP TABLE FOOD
If he's healthy:
You are training the dog not the other way around.
You need to break the habits that have been formed.
Buy a quality food and put it down at acertain time of day leave it down for 30mins. If he doesn't eat it pick it up. Do this for a few days. He will eat when he gets hungary.
Dachsunds are gorgers believe me he will eat

You might try mixing a little bit of canned food in with some boiled chicken, and slowly increase the canned food and decrease the chicken to get her "weaned" off the people food.

if you keep feeding her table food, the dog is not going to now anything except table food, my dog used to be the same way, force her to eat dog food, to start out try getting food that "smells" like it so it attracts her then gradually lean her toward actual dog food

Warm unsalted chicken broth and pour over either canned or dry kibble.
choose a premium kibble, such as Canidae, Innova, Wellness, Solid Gold, or Wysong. These are made with real meat, not by products and will increase her apetite. Begin with pouring the warm broth over it and feeding it warm (aroma is more inviting when warm)

If she is that picky, it won't hurt to feed her boiled chicken and rice.
Vets recommend it when a dog has an upset stomach, and for picky eaters.
Don't salt it though!
