I like food but all the treats I have are unhealthy and I need to lose weight, so I'm trying to replace my chocolate and pizzas with something much healthier but still tasty, any ideas?? (any general weightloss tips also very welcome)
Thanks :-)

Low fat yogurt, granola bars, all kinds of fruits. In fact you can mix the three and make tasty parfait. Try to get your fill of food with fruits and veggies. If you must eat junk food like pizza or chocolates, limit the amount you eat (ie don't eat more than 2 or 3 chocolates, one slice of pizza). Drink lots of water. I can keep going on but you gotta find what works for you, read some health mags or health postings online. Yahoo health has some good points.

Baby Carrots, Celery, Cucumbers, Mushrooms, Green Peppers, Brocolli or Cauliflower dipped in either NO FAT Sour Cream with some Lipton's Onion Soup Mix stirred in or low calorie salad dressing.

Fudgesicles are about 100 calories and it's CHOCOLATE!

Caramel Chocolate Chip Rice Cakes (about 60 calories for one)

Low Calorie/Diet Hot Chocolate

Soya Mini Crispies by Quaker many different flavours

Rice Mini Crispies by Quaker (I think they might even have a Pizza flavour)

Cereal....you can take Cheerios or Chex or mix them together and "bake" them lightly sprinkled with cooking oil, Worchestershire Sauce and Garlic Powder at 250 degrees F for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes and they taste kinda like Chex Mix.

Yogurt - Light yogurt has more calories than what I'd like, but it's a treat. Pick your favorite flavor and reward yourself when your sweet tooth kicks in.

Cool Whip - Are you an ice cream addict? Next time you have a craving, eat some frozen Cool Whip Light instead.

Sugar-Free Jello - Available in a large variety of flavors, you're in for a refreshing treat.

Fat-free chocolates also works just fine.

The things i like to do , for a low fat fruit mousse , is mix a sachet of jelly and hot water with a muller light yoghurt and a tub of quark , blend that together and set in the fridge, you never get bored with all the different flavours you can do , they are very low fat as well , perfect if youve got a very sweet tooth.

You can have ANY yummy treats you want without going low-fat. You just have to make sure that you don't eat too much of them. As long as you use more calories than you take in, then you WILL lose weight NO MATTER WHAT YOU EAT.

really high quality chocolate, especially dark in small quantities. It is much richer and you wont want to eat nearly as much of it. The best chocolate satisfies with only a small amount. It is much lower in fat content and the dark choc has lots of good stuff too much like red wine. Obviously dont have lots of it or it negates the good effects. Also drink loads and loads of water.

When making a jelly instead of adding the final 1/2 pint of water to the boiling water and dissolved jelly add 1/2 pint of low fat yoghurt and set as normal. Its very yummy, very cheap, very low fat, high in protein and you can also add fruit into it.

If I'm being good (which isn't often!) I like a bag of assorted nuts (not salted).

I've just discovered a firm called CharitiSnack (or something like that) who sell healthy snacks for a £1 in aid of Blind Children.

So while you're munching you actually feel that you've helped a worthy cause too!

Try feezing some berries, grapes or cut up fruit and either eat the pieces plain or make a smoothie. You could also try light popcorn and spinkle some herbs on it (I like Pinch of Herbs). I also like plain old cut up veggies with light ranch or other light dressing for dipping.
