My biggest fish was a 39 pound channel cat caught on the Cape Fear River in NC in May 2002. It was caught on a Shakespeare Ugly Stick with a Zebco 808 with 25 pound Cajun Line. We were on a Polarcraft 19 foot with a Evinrude 50hp. That was about 10 minutes of fighting.......That same night my partner caught a 53 pound Channel about 1/2 mile down stream.
My biggest largemouth bass was an 8 lb 5 oz taken in 2001 at Holland Lake, Ft Bragg, NC on a Zebco 33 Classic with 10lb test using a Strike King 3X Pumpkinseed and Chartruese 6 inch curl tail.
My biggest stripper was this June on the Cape Fear River.... 10 lb 3 oz.... on a Shakepeare Spincast and Shimano rod.... 8 lbs Berkey Trilene caught from a small private dock just upstream from Lock 14.

A Red Snapper. About 2 feet long and I don't remember what it weighed. Couldn't have been over 20 lbs. But we were deep sea fishing on a commercial fishing boat and there was this money pool for who caught the biggest fish, and I had it! Or so I thought until somebody caught a big pointy-nosed fish, maybe a swordfish, a marlin, something like that. Kinda blew me out of the water.

I once caught a 35 pound Bonita (relative of the tuna) while deep sea fishing off of Florida. Recently, I caught a couple of 15-18 lb king fish in the same area.

I caught a mommy shark when I was 16 off the boat in yuma az. Out by the seabee base. However the weight of the shark decreased after she popped out the baby sharks due to her going into distress. lol... we tried putting them in a tank of water but they all slowly died.

She has two legs and divorced me two years ago. Her last weigh in was 200lbs. She ate me out of house and home. She is easy to catch just wiggle a Foot long hot dog with mustard on it and she'll come running.
