Yes, it is. It is dangerous to eat/drink anything in excess. Drinking too much water can cause water intoxication.

Yes and read this:A 25-year-old District of Columbia police officer died Wednesday from hyponatremia, a rare condition in which the blood’s sodium level is too low due to overconsumption of water. The officer, James McBride, had participated in a 12-mile training ride on a bicycle, in preparation for using the bicycle on patrol.

McBride had drunk approximately 3 gallons of water during and after the ride. According to an article by Dr. Ian Rogers on the Wilderness Medical Society web site, no more than a half to three quarters of a liter (about a pint to less than a quart) of water should be drunk per hour in endurance events unless there is reason to believe that there will be significant water loss.

Instances of hyponatremia have increased during the last 20 years as endurance athletic events like marathons and triathlons have grown in popularity.

Im gonna have to go out on a limb and say no. I imagine your body wouldnt let you intake an unhealthy amount of H2O, you would just puke up the excess water. I drink about 3-5 gallons of Water a day and I seem to be doing fine.

Yes, if you drink too much water, you don't retain any of the nutrients your body needs from foods you eat. You essentially flush out everything good and bad when you drink too much water. Your body doesn't have the change to absorb anything.

Yes: If you drink too much water in too short a period of time, then it's possible to develop a possibly-fatal condition known as "hyponatremia," in which your brain swells up!

Some fraternities hazed some pledges by making them drink too much water, and some of them did die. Also, lots of conscientious athletes try to make sure that they're well-hydrated while exercising outdoors, and sometimes they overdo it and either wind up in the the ICU or die.

Yes, there is a condition called 'hyponatremia'. It is when you have consumed so much water that it dilutes your sodium and electrolyte levels in your body to the point of coma or even death. It is rare and usually happens to distance runners and cyclists.
