Socioeconomic class? College classes, high school, elementary school, kindergarten? Homeroom? Core classes? Electives?

class-markers are often below the level of overt consciousness

I believe that it is done unconsciously ... perhaps
the behoviour which results from "class-observation" is a marker of the acceptance level of the person doing the categoprization.

If you meant college. They give you a list of the major that you prefer and you can take most of them in any order but to not mess up the year u graduate, its best to stick in order.
