Yeah, I know what you mean. The women in my family tend to look much like the men, and the men have not been often accused of being handsome. So our family has had no known problems with incest.
But, there was a cousin Mavis, who not only did not look like her sisters, but had an amazing resemblance to Raquel Welch. We boys, her cousins, wanted her bad!!!! Um, okay, I wanted her badly.
Believe it or not, there are states where I could have gone if she wanted me as badly as I wanted her, and where first cousins can legally marry, no incest at all. Rats, she clearly did not want me...
So, don't assume "family" is a problem, as long as its first cousin or further, don't worry about it. If no one tells you it's family and a boy you meet wants to marry you, there is no problem.
