I am studying the gift of healing now, so it's neat to get to answer a question about it. I don't think that it is so much a "learned gift" as it is using the Holy Spirit as he intends. We as Christians, filled with the Holy Spirit, have the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. We have healing hands! So why aren't we doing more with it? I think that we need the gift of faith. To know that when we say 'in Jesus name" be healed, we should expect just that. Learning to listen to the Holy Spirit is vital in any ministry, so start there.

No true healing or spirit of healing exists except through God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. All others are witchcraft and of the Jezebel demon spirit and will burn in hell.
I know that you think that playing with the dark arts and occult is "cool" but it send you to the "fire"
Think about it. It is your soul that you are playing with.

I believe we are all healers, but some can be 'better' at it than others simply because they are more 'gifted' than others. But, then again, I believe that those who have the gift are generally the only ones who ever actively pursue learning it. Go to http://www.reiki.org to learn more!

Lots of charlatans out there - even the ones with famous names!
MANY times those who were healed were traced a year of two later to find they were either DEAD, or reverted to their illness, or?

There are many people who claim to be healers. They do not have to be spiritual healers.

i think most of the time it's a natural gift. other times if you are very close to god and do things that please him and you are in the right part of your life, he may bless you with that gift. i think if god wants you to do it, he will let you know.
