Stage 17 will go down in history as one of the most amazing turnarounds in bike racing history. As for his win overall it was good but certianly he is not yet on par with the greats with just one tour win. Unfortunately given his hip issue I don't know if we will ever get to see how good he could have been only time will tell.

I think with this win he now has the confidence to carry that on - there has been no doubt that the boy can hammer. And other teams, like Discovery, will be bidding for him to be a team leader.

His win is certainly a great one, and his stage win was phenominal but at this point he won't be considered among the greats of all time. Perhaps in the future...

his ride on thursday was definitely one for the ages, probably one of the top 5 Tour stages of all time.

career wise, he's a winner but not yet a superstar, maybe that will come with time.
