You have it backwards.
When will humanity collapse and we live in one religion?

greed is the common denominator in all human conflict. the politians have tried throughout human history to use religion(human attribute) as an excuse to get the people involved in their endevors; and unfortunatly it has worked. that is the real lie. to this day, it is evident in the political aspirations of the terrorist leaders. this is so very unfortunate, the peoples of the earth are seperated by the whims of politians. this is made possible by the politian's real view of history; and this view is quite correct. in ancient times the difference between race, religion and country was non-existant. now the differences are existant. living in a multi- cultural world we see conflicts that are labeled religious(holy wars), these are highlighted by the polititians as causes for the conflicts when nothing else but struggle for real resources are at the heart of the problem.

i'm sorry i got so long winded. you said regions and not religions. well, the anwser stands. hope it was informative. i didn't take a look at the whole question. people do that sometimes. woops. subcatagory.

On a level I agree with you. I am slightly unnerved by "organized religion" because there is too much room for corruption and politics. It would be wonderful if people would maybe make the decision to live in harmony. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in God, just not the belief that religion gives us a right to hide behind it in order to justify hurting each other. Odds are against that happening so each of us needs to do what we can individually to live in harmony with everyone else. Can't change everyone but we can change ourselves.

No, because to be one entity we all have to be working for the same goal. I don't think that the collapse of religion will make that happen.

Cyclone: Something like your question came to me just recently. Let me tell you about this. I guess you could call it something like a "vision," that Jesus was describing to me. I am one of His teachers and we have long discussions together, daily. In spirit and mind, of course! I had mentioned to Him the immigrations issues before this country and Jesus began to speak of these things: He reminded me He was never political minded during His earthly life. He instructed me to never be involved politically; always, "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar!" Then He began to speak of something I had never thought of: He said the way mankind is living today is primitive. Along with denominational religions to separate us and stop harmony between us, we are divided up into Nations with flags and National Anthems and all the trappings of patriotic beliefs. This leads to great divisions between us and causes territorial disputes. We speak different languages and each of us lives our life within the turmoils caused by Nationalism; protectiveness and gain for ourselves. When I acknowledged that this was true, He continued with me: He foresaw a time when the areas of the earth would be divided up into nothing but regions. NOT NATIONS. There would be no such thing as emmigrating or immigrating. Everyone could live in any region desired. While languages would have to be learned in order to live in a region, the only government for that region would be a government to handle infrastructures, dispersion of monies (budgets, etc.,) decide upon laws for civility and order, etc. But never again would there be Nationalism. People would move from area to area (regions) at will. No papers. No laws to make them citizens of a Nation, no passports, but now instead, we would all become Citizens of the World. Whatever work you did in a region, your wages would be the same and equal to everyone else in your CATEGORY, at your LEVEL. For there would be no nationals or natives favored - who got higher pay. The world would migrate as it pleased on whatever basis it chose. All details would be worked out for trade, currency, etc. But the main idea Jesus said He saw was - the One-ness of it all. The Citizens of the World. He desires to add to that a world that worships it's Father all together, as One , in a non-denominational state of being. For denominational thinking is a separation tool just like nationality is. He foresaw us coming together as a Sonship in this manner!

I shared this with you because I have thought about what He spoke to me recently - often. Now I have shared it with you!
