The story of finding out our first pregnancy is actually kind of funny. We were working up at a boy scout camp for the summer right after we got married. Well a couple of weeks earlier my husband had gotten a speeding ticket, and were down in town at the court house trying to fight it. I had been suspecting that I was pregnant, so right before hand we went to the store and bought a pregnancy test. Then right before our scheduled time to go in and see the judge I ran in the bathroom and took the test. I was so nervous I had it upside down and was getting impatient to find out the results. When I turned it over and saw the two lines I about passed out. Then I ran out and told my husband and showed him the test. I got really embarrassed when some old guy walking by looked at me weird while I was waving the test around. Then I was in such a daze I wasn't any help testifying to the judge. I mostly just wanted to scream out "I just found out I'm pregnant!" Regardless, we had to pay the speeding ticket in the end. But I'll never forget how we found out since it was so original and funny. I would say not to try and plan anything big. Just be spontaneous about it and it will be more memorable.

My husband had a lot of stress when i first thought i might be pregnant. He had just started a new job, had a drivers test coming up, and i knew that knowing i was pregnant would just put more strain on him. I did tell him that i might be before i went for the test, but he asked me to wait until after the drivers test to tell him the results. Just take into consideration what is going on with him before you spring this on him. i think it's nice if you can tell him right after you find out, or even to find out together if possible. When you do tell him, try to do it in a quiet, private romantic setting so that you have his full attention, and he will rmember the moment in a good way for the rest of his life

I took a pregnancy test around the time my period was due. I just had a weird feeling, almost like I knew. I didn't even remember exactly when my period was due, but I took the test and it came back positive! I called my husband (boyfriend at the time, but friends for 10 years.) and I asked him to come home for a few, it was really important. It is easy for him to get out of work as it is a family owned business. Anyways, he came in the door and I asked him if he was going to love me forever. He had a huge grin on his face, he says he knew what I was going to say. And of course he answered yes and I showed him the pregnancy test and we both hugged and cried and hugged some more. It was simple, but I will never forget it. Good luck!

I would come out and tell him right now! Give him a call, or tell him when he gets home. You should be open with each other, and he can support you in one week when you are able to get the results from the test, no matter which way they come out. Wish you luck!

When you find out for sure you are pregnant, give him a little baby gift, like a pair of baby booties or something. Just wrap it up in a little box and let him open it. You could also include the little pregnancy test stick. Good Luck.

Dear, you just told millions of people....there are tests that will tell you right away, ask your Pharmacist.....
A thing my friend did when she was pregnant was wrap the stick in some nice paper and gave it to her hubby at dinner as a gift.....or wait until bed time.......don't call him at work .....do a face to face tell.
Much luck to you both or three....

personally, if i were a guy and you showed me the test, i'd probably vomit. same with baby booties. your question makes me think of FULL HOUSE where Rebecca makes that dinner for Jesse with everything double, to try and tell him they were expecting twins.
make sure get the positive test results first, and then just keep it simple - wait til he comes home and and just tell him like it is :)

Tell him now. let him be there when you take the test. You need to be together no matter what the test says.
