I don't think that there's anything wrong with it. I almost killed my husband when I was pregnant with our son. HE didn't want it after I was done with him.

Welcome to pregnancy hormones, honey.

Now, if you're in your last trimester, you may want to tone it down a little bit, as sexual orgasm can lead to an early labor, ESPECIALLY if you're at risk for an early labor, anyways.

Happy humping!

Maybe you are just basking that the glow of being pregnant and you both feel particularly close to each other right now. Just enjoy it while it lasts, you won't be doing it that much once the baby comes!

P.S.- Sex shouldn't harm the baby, as long as you are having a healthy pregnancy with no complications. Some people even have sex in the 9th month of pregnancy. However, at your next appt. it woulnd't hurt to ask your Dr. if there is a point where you should stop having sex.

Please, pass it on. I am so the opposite. I'm 30 wks pregnant and have no urge. I know this is bad because it effects him. I do consider his feelings alot of the time but I don't want to fake it. When I'm not pregnant everything is good.

However, you should be careful. As you get further into your pregnancy, sex can bring on contractions.
Just think, after you have the baby he may expect you to stay that way. And if you can't......then what.

In the meantime, have fun and be safe

No, not at all. In fact, many pregnancy magazines state that your libido shifts one way or another; meaning, you're really horny or you want nothing to do with your partners nether regions! I think as long as you're comfortable (as well as your partner) there is nothing to be alarmed about. Also, you might as your OB/GYN when you may need to tone it down. Traditionally, women are told to not have sex as often between weeks 36 and 40 as thrusting may cause premature rupture of the membranes.

WOW! That must be why you are pregnant, your guy must be a god or something! lol. Just kidding! :-)

I'm sure it can't hurt anything as long as your careful. I dont think its a good idea to make love in the 4'th month or so because you could damage the child and yourself.

Just be careful and make sure its not rough sex.

Have fun! [but not TO much fun!]
