Go to Home Depot. Many gas stations and grocery stores refill tanks too. They'll actually just take your old tank and give you a new one.

Most hardware stores will refill popane tanks. You can also go to your local gas company.

many gas stations have propane as well, and lots of grocery stores have "blue rhino" exchange tanks...you get the customer service guy/gal and give them your old tank, they give you one of blue rhino's and collect some money....
