Otley is not between Leeds and Bradford. It is on the outskirts of these 2 cities which border each other. Harrogate is about 9 miles away. Otley is a fine place and I know a number of people who live there and visit quite often. It has lots of pubs, which is typical of a Yorkshire market town. People who have lived there all their lives tend to know most other people there (and their business!).

Otley is an historic small market town in West Yorkshire situated between Leeds, Bradford and Harrogate. It is signposted off the A1(M) around Wetherby. It is known for it's former manufacture of printing presses and for, probably, it's most famous son Thomas Chippendale, the cabinet maker. The town is divided into two by the river Wharfe and is bounded to the south by the 'Chevin' (from the Celtic name for hill).
