A very, VERY close friend of mine is always talking about her boyfriend. I find myself becoming unbearably disgusted and depressed whenever she talks about all the great things they share. I know I'm not jealous because of the guy she's dating. He's my friend, but I don't like him like that and I have a great boyfriend. Do you think I'm jealous of their relationship, or jealous of all the time he spends with her? Or something else?

im going to focus on "something else" and try and give you a different perspective. it could just be that your very very good friend's BF has nothing to do with the way your feeling. the reason u could be feeling this disgust and depression is because deep down inside, your not happy with yourself. u know? it's easy to see that when a person is happy within? and hear's of another's happiness? disgust and depression would be the last thing you'll think of ... wouldn't u think?

Jealous of thier relationship. How new is there relationship? or have they been dating for a while? if it is new then thats why she is talking all great. All new relationships are like that at first. Its up to each other to keep it that way.

I don't think your jealous. I think you are just tired of hearing her brag to much. Brag about your relationship to her too. I think she wants to have a better relationship than you. Just agree with her and tell her that's good they have a great relationship. Don't let her get to you, sounds like she wants you to get jealous because she's the one thats jealous of your relationship.

it is OK to be jealous, I had the same thing happen to me. you say shes a close friend so she shouldn't mind you talking to her about it. i agree w. him that you probably want something in your relationship that your friend has in hers. Just talk to her about it.

We all want that person we love to make us feel special.Maybe you should try talking to your boyfriend and telling him what you would like more of,time together , holding hands, etc.An open relationship is a good one, talk to him ...you've got nothing to lose.

chances are you are jealous, but u might also just wish your relationship was as good as your friend's. but sometimes ppl over exaggerate about how good their relationship is, and its something that its not. just dont worry about your friend's relationship, and if u have to, tell her to not talk about it so much, she'll understand. just be happy with your boyfriend and dont let other ppls lives interfere with yours.

It sounds like she has a much more caring boyfriend than you have. It sounds like you wish your relationship was as good as hers. It sounds like you need to find yourself another guy so you can be happy.
