My mom thinks I'm a little girl. Every time I bring up the subject of boys she goes "ewww boys are gross" and I'm like "do u think i'm 3 or something?" I mean, boys obviously don't have 'cooties' anymore. We should be past that stage. How do I get her to realize that i'm mature but also get her to realize i don't do grown up things and that she can trust me. Trust might be part of our problem. What do u think? HELP

PS: I'm going into 8th grade.

The first thing you need realize which might be hard for you is the fact that you are going into 8th grade, you aren't going to college. You are a child and your mother shouldn't be hopping up and down encouraging you to be going out with tons of boys. You have SO much time to do all that, don't rush it.
What you can do to let your mom know that you are interested in boys is talk to her in a serious manner, like a young adult. Just be honest with her and tell her whats on your mind, let her know that you don't like it when she treats you like you are 5 and that you would like her to be there for you and that you need her to be a mom to a teen, not a mom to a toddler.

That's too bad, you have a thousand questions that you should ask your mom about, not yahoo answers.
Do you have a friend's mom that you can talk with?

Your mother is trying to help you - not hurt you. She is simply saying you are too young to start thinking about boys.

You have time - wait till you are 16, then start the fun.
