Remove the male cat immediately. Leave the mama and baby in the room together. If necessary, nurse the baby yourself. Keep careful watch. I nursed a 2 week old baby kitten successfully with kitten formula and kitten bottles. He is now a fat healthy 3 month old tomcat. And yes, my mama cat went into heat when her kittens were only around 4 weeks old.

It's especially true because two of the kittens died; she is having a reaction in the direction of grief, and has probably given up on the other kitten surviving. Talk to the vet about how to take care of the remaining kitten.

yes, because 2 of the kittens have died she may not be to into the other kitten, my cat had one kitten and the male killed it, she ot pregnant 2 weeks later, you might have to take care of the kitten yourslef so that one doesnt die too. chances are she isnt going to care for it like she should. you can get some kitten formula at a pet store or walmart, might even be a good idea to get the supplies you need from the vet.

i believe cats come in heat every 21 to 27 days. I was at my vet and the vet tech said they are in heat 24/7 kind of joking in other words meaning a lot.

It's possible. My neighbors cat had kittens and then, I don't remeber how old the kittens were, she had another litter of kittens.
