Is it possible to be friends without having a relationship (emotional or sexual) between a man and a woman? Yes, find yourself a Gay Guy. However, whether your willing to admit it or not guys are not the only ones who entertain thoughts of a sexual nature with their friends of the other sex. The term I have developed is D*ck in a jar. The guy you want to be your friend is the one you dont find attractive enough to bump uglies with, but if it were a last resort, your always have your "friend" (D*ick in a jar) stowed away on the shelf. Break glass in case of emergency. The reason why it usually comes down to the guy trying to turn the relationship to a sexual nature before the girl is because we are not as picky. The first time we met you, even if we were with another woman, (wife, gf) we categorized you. By that I mean, put you into a database in which under the right circumstances we would attempt to part the beef curtains. Please do not misunderstand me women, this is not misogenistic or demeaning, or necessarily saying that we plan to cheat on aforementioned wife or GF. Im just saying that no matter how long you have been friends, or how good and pure your friendship is with a man, at one time (probably more than one time) he has imagined. Imagined you naked, imagined making out with you, imagined the perfect (no matter how unlikely) situation where he was bush deep in your goo pot. Once again, that does come with the 'if he's not gay' disclaimer.
Seriously, though, think about it. The guy you are trying to make your friend is the guy who you "never thought about like that" right? And the reason you never thought about him like that is because you don't find him attractive enough to do the no pants dance. Human nature. Everything revolves around sex, and it always has and always will. From the dawn of time men procreated so that they could spread their seed and populate the world. Centuries of evolution have not changed that at all. Everything a man does revolves around attracting the opposite sex. The cars we drive (or want to drive); the clothes we wear; the cologne we wear; the things we say - we are all trying to attract as many women as possible. And it does not change when we get married - we still want to attract the ladies. It is human nature. Sad but true.

Because men are wired that way. Instictively, males of almost any species are driven to further their bloodline, or mate, to dominate his environment as the majority. Men have the tendency to actively seek better and better mates on a regular basis to spread his bloodline as far and wide as possible with the best results. Women are wired to be caregivers, or nurturers. Instinctively, they search for a man to provide the best possible traits, so that her children will be the strongest and have the best chance of survival. So when a woman finds a suitable mate, she feels that she has to secure the relationship and learn all things about the man that may be a benefit in breeding. The man is instictively more concerned with quantity, or mating frequently in a hurry. Instinct is almost impossible to deny or breed out, no matter how long the species evolves.

Use sex as a weapon tease them into thinking that there going somewhere so you get what you want!! The oldest trick in the book. Guys are clueless if they treat women as sex toys. There hormones are racing and they dont have common sense to control it. But not all men/ boys are like that. Keep looking there is a gentleman out there for you somewhere. Good luck

Because they are arrogant and believe they are the superior ones. That is how they get their so called I made it passed first base. I am not going to mention the persons name but He knows who he is, but just because women can dress sexy does not mean hey come over here, I will can get it on. That is what rapist say, "Well if she wasn't wearing that short skirt, I would not have done it, it's her fault for leading me on!" We are not like that. Well, it goes to say some men are & some women are. I don't know everyone but people we need to get a grip on our lives and start thinking about our future.

I'm guessing by your statement that seems to be what has happened to you and I'm sorry to hear your experiences have been so bad. it seems you've had a run of bad luck but, not all guy's are like that some prefer to be friends and don't care so much about sex. i hope you have better luck in the near future though.

Cause then gals don't take u serious . I have done it quite often but it is not worth it . You become friends . Then she falls for some one who is not good for her . You try to tell her or try to show her that the guy is not good and she think as if u r jealous. Gals don't wants us to be ur friends if you don't want friend , get a gay men . Don't ask our advice or ask a question that you don't want to listen to be get answered. We can be friends but we can't pretend to be idiots on whose shoulder you just want to cry out when u r at fault .

Don't be confused about the anatomy of men. Their brains are not in the same place as women's. It's the testosterone bath their brain takes just before they are born. And lets face it, they are really shallow, or maybe you are too available. I actually have great men friends. Just know where to draw the line between friendship and horny - and don't be so available.
