Last month I visited a strip club and used my card to pay for charges.

Next morning i have $6300 worth of charges on it!! I was only there myself for 2hrs- unforutnatly i was totally wasted and cant rememer the night or what i have signed for :(

As a result, my citi credit card which has a limit of $3500 currently is $4800 over the limit! HELP!!!!!

I cant get unsecured loans as my credit history is too short. I have already disputed the charges, but if i did sign the reciepts and hence liable what is my best solution. I have no other debts...

Thanks for your help

Not only check to see if you had signed the receipts, check to see if any extra charges were added - tips etc that are not in your handwriting.

It's not unheard that whoever waits on you will bump up a tip or add one if there you don't put one on there. Especially when you give them the perfect opportunity since you either cannot hold your liqueur or drink so much that blackouts are a recurring thing.

I'm not saying that all waitstaff are like that, but there are a few that are.

Next time you go to the strip joint or any bar leave your credit cards at home.

As for what you can do "if" the charges are legit, I dunno. Maybe try to work out a payment plan with the credit card company.

It sounds like you have more of a problem than just financial.

I hope those strippers were really good. You have done the correct thing by putting the charges in contest. The strip club will have to provide proof that you authorized the purchases. If they don't have it, your credit card provider will charge them back and credit your account. That could take some time.

If you lose that battle, I would take the position that you were under the influence and not of sound judgement. I can pretty much tell that without too much effort, so hopefully a judge would rule the same way. I would never pay it.

Sir , Have you the bank demand get full accounting with signatures
of all charges . Contest all charges cause you sir are getting a pole dance.
Second of all, destroy the CARD, pay for all strip clubs with CASH only! You can't get to smashed that way.
Visit DaveRamsey.com understand with a charge/credit card you will get the pole more often.

This usually happens in stip club, they over charge your credit, and they add charges to it. Call your credit card company and tell them that you did not authrozed those charges.
