It could be gout; could also be plantar fasciitis (an inflamation of the muscles and tendons on the ball of the foot); I had a bout with that for awhile and my feet swelled up all the time and was rather painful. I also ended up at the orthotic specialist's office and was diagnosed with fallen/falling arches which puts alot of strain on the ankles, causing them to swell. Get in with the doc and see whats up!

Its probable callouses...or, it must be athletes ft...(yep, you will get it everywhere!!)... First, get some absorbine jr, and use it there and observe if it clears it up...and once you've callouses, get a sanding block, (bought at a parmacy), and sand the callouses down and they wont itch anymore...it occurs plenty in dry climate... Or, you could attempt softening them up by putting vaseline on your ft, and putting a sock on them and wearing it to mattress all evening.. the vaseline will melt the callouses up and stop itching... I wish you properly.. Jesse

possibly a circulation problem? when you lay down, try to keep your feet above heart level. and when you sit down try to keep your feet up on a stool or another chair.
