How old is he? Younger cats will tend to be more playful, or aggressive. Also, how do you react to these attacks? Running, jumping, and squealing just make it more fun for the cat, so he'll continue to do it.

Have you had it since it was a kitten?
During the night shut your door. During the day give it more attention, if this doesn't work consult your vet maybe the cat has a medical problem. It is possible that you are not playing and paying attention to the cat.

If you just got the cat take it back to the shelter or where ever you got it from!! Some cats just are not people friendly.

I had a cat who did that once. You have to show him you are no threat. Don't try to fuss over him just wait on him coming to you. Try not to look him in the eyes as this is supposed to mean your trying to challenge him.
Have you heard of cat nip? Well cats love the smell of it, you can buy toys and treats with a catnip scent. You can buy it at any local pet store. The treats worked really well on my cat, i think he started seeing me as the lady who kept giving him treats and playing with lovely smelling toys!
Ask at your pet shop - I'm sure they'll have some.
A cats trust is sometimes a difficult thing to earn but i'm sure you'll get there.
Good luck honey x

depends on how old the cat is, if he is a kitten they like to play if its a middle age cat they tend to me more territorial and agressive, if its an older cat im not sure what the issue might be, cats have there own personality so it could be thats just the way he is.

If it is a kitten it is just playing. My cats always attacke my toes at night. Just put him in another room at night. During the day give him the three T's-touch, time, and talk. Look him in the eyes. He just needs your love.

Well try to show more affection for him than you usually do. Have you been busier lately? Spend more time with your cat. Play with him!!!! How do you usually react to these terror attacks? By making noises, running, etc. makes it fun for the cat. He thinks you are finally Playing with him!!!So take my advice and take some time off to spend with Kitty, I am sure he'll appreciate it!!! Good Luck!!!

Have his nuts chopped off that usually calms them down. If you don't want to do that take him to the vet and ask if they have Prozac for cats.
