I believe FOX is the most realistic in its coverage. If you look into things they are usually ahead of the curve because they are not afraid to offend the P.C. crowd. They have liberal and conservative commentators who agree to disagree. They have resources of their Sky News sister network which has been competing with the liberal BBC for years and more experience in standing firm in their coverage.

I find it interesting that the conservatives call the media the liberal media and then the far right uncovers so much media control by the govt, so both are saying its media for the other one.
On Cspan2 was the ONLY channel that covered the enormous protest when bush was inaugerated, and throughout even the local news downplayed how many people showed up- thousands not hundreds. The checkpoints they had to go through even the speakers who were senate and congress and school officials and busloads of regular people, worker unions, just a myriad of people from all over and it was not openly reported. The peace movement is in fear of being labelled terrorists because we do not agree with the administration. It has made the world hate us and we do not want to be hated. We do not want war.
I suggest watching other news in addition to the main ones available. We can access any of them on the web, and listen to public radio. There are other news sources out there you just need to look. If you seek understanding do research and gain as much knowledge as you can, see both sides of the issues and support arbitration. If you believe in peace sign the declaration of peace... Its on google. So yes, I think Fox news is censored and biased. Though the reporter Ive seen in Lebanon seems to be reporting both sides and Im waiting to hear what the Hez has to say. Its important to show both sides. Its the beginning of arbitration at least. Are you a muslim who believes in peace? please speak out. Through tolerance and communication we can change the world.

Fox reports the news as it happens without "censorship" or half-truths. You can turn on Fox and see a briefing live from Iraq without the input from the anchorperson here in the states. The other networks will air clips from the conference hours later but will have edited it and the anchor person will be throwing their negative input...
A good example of this was the other day when a US evacuee from Lebanon was asked if his evacuation compared to the Katrina evacuation. Fox was carrying the briefing live when the guy said "No, my evacuation from Beirut was not like Katrina." MSNBC showed the same briefing except the evacuee's voice was covered by the MSNBC anchorperson saying that the evacuation was going so bad that people were comparing it to Katrina...
Regardless, unless you're a fascist, collect your news from multiple sources and decide for yourself...
Why do people insist Fox News is biased yet they can't site specific reasons or incidents where they're biased vs other networks coverage?

Of course Fox News is biased, but then again there is so little media avaliable to the masses that is not one sided at all. The MAJORITY of media is biased in some form to best represent their own personal interests. The BBC is unfortunately under the thumb of the government here in the UK, so its not just the US that suffers.
As far as Fox News is concerned, it is owned by Rupert Murdoch and his news corporation. Murdoch himself is a staunch republican and I believe he has contributed to political campaigns by Republicans throughout the decades.
Trying to obtain a fair view on the news, perhaps you could try reading both leftist and right-wing media or even the alternative news?
Try: http://www.independent.co.uk/
I like this newspaper because it covers events that sometimes dont get recognized by mainstream newspapers because they're too busy reporting what the Queen did today, or how a celebrity as had liposuction. It is one of the few papers I have seen address global warming for one.

Yes, Fox News is too conservatively biased, but they act as an excellent counterpoint to CNN's liberal bias. I prefer to get my news from magazines, Wall Street Journal, and BBC. More thoughtful articles and less bias.

CBS, and CNN are biased biased against America. Fox is the republican channel, CNN and CBS are the democratic socialist channels.

All news stations, radio, Internet, TV, have a deep ultra liberal bias. For those that think I'm wrong, answer me this: When was the last time you heard anything bad about a Dem Pres.(escept Clinton, he got caught) And when was the last time you heard anything good about a GOP Pres. When you can't remember, ask your parents and then grandparents.

fox news is too right for me. After the bombing thing, instead of actually reporting about the violence and people dying, they decided to interview some congressman. i don't know, it just seems to me like they think everything that bush does is right, and as his ratings will tell you, he obviously isn't.
BTW, i reported you for the jewish comment.
