My mind is boggled. Pro-criminals tell us non-criminals to blame the government. hmm. Here's part of a quoted answer I took from angelaR......
"Blame your govt. before you open your big mouth...
A country is only as good as its laws.
And if a country doesn't keep its laws, how do you expect others to follow its laws??? " end of quote

I have read so many others like this and cannot grasp the logic. Blame the government, they yell and yet they support the very government they cast blame on, by supporting illegal immigration. Am I wrong to hold these criminal supporters accountable and blame them just the same as I blame our government? Are they not, as well, blaming our government for their own illegal actions and support of crime? There goes my logical brain again....I interpret their logic to mean that they support crime and criminals but it's all the governments fault that they do. They truely want to support this crime and walk free of any responsibility?

Our elected officials swore a solemn oath to do right by this country and its LEGAL citizens. Many of them have failed that oath, & let their greed rule their hearts. They have failed We the People.
The pro criminal element that is running rampant within our soveriegn borders have the idea that they deserve "rights" which are reserved for LEGAL citizens.
Instead of being good potential citizens of this great nation, the criminal trespassers & the supporters of these criminals want the American people & government to grant them AMNESTY which is in effect a gracious pardon of the wrongs they have commited in order to reside within our soveriegn borders.
It seems that the American government is considering this very thing, right or wrong.
Here is how I see it, Two wrongs dont make a right. Therefore, criminal trespassers & their supporters have absolutely NO right to demand anything from me or any other law abiding American citizen.
The debate has raged accross this nation and many states have enacted laws which reflect the peoples will in absence of the federal governments willingness to act. This trend of denying criminals any foothold in American cities and states is going to sweep the nation and our federal government will be held accountable very soon. I for one will not tolerate the criminal mentality these people seem to have bred into them.
Secure borders, detect, detain, deport, delouse!

Whether, I agree with the govt. policies or not, it still doesn't negate the fact that is govt. turns a blind eye to the illegal problem in this country. I seemed to have hit a nerve with you..

Why is that so hard for you to understand? With all the huge resources we have, you mean to tell me we can't keep out illegals? With all the billions we spent on defense, there is not enough money to secure our borders???

Sorry but I don't buy that argument lady. And for your info, I don't support breaking the law, I feel this govt. must do something to stop the flow....That having been said, have you ever taken the time to read some of the laws this govt writes? Talk about taking away freedoms? Where is your indigence there? Since you want to protect your freedoms so much, why dont you take time and really discover who is taking away your freedoms, it certainly isnt illegals...

Lets put it this way--If I am a molester of children-the school should know better to hire me-but I broke the law by being there. The molester law breaker is more accountable-he shouldn't be there to begin with. The school should of check both are accountable but at different levels
In the case of an Illegal--they don't belong there they are more accountable. If they were not there the business would not hire them.

Both are accountable-but the one breaking the law to be there is more.

Every one involved in this is responsible in some way, now is the time that itt has gotten out of hand and we need to fix the problem... thr best way to do this is to enforce the laws, and add a mandatory prison term to any one the hires a illegal.

So your saying that you cannot grasp the logic that the government is responsible for the illegal immigrants ?
Your logic is that I am responsible for the illegal immigrants because I am pro amnesty?
Really I'm asking.Because that makes absolutely no friggin sense to me.

Nope, private citizens who've sat there and watched all this transpire for years, and advocated it, city officials who've turned a blind eye to it, politicians who warned the cops off from enforcing the laws on it, banks who've lent on mortgages to illegals, mexico for letting all this go on all these years, border patrol for smoking dope on the job, employers who've hired em, and ALLL the bleeding hearts who couldn't look up 'illegal' in the dictionary to save their very lives...reform doesn't have to hurt, but we do need to get started...
vote in November to throw out the old codgers with buddies in the food production industry! Let's clean up the payola and graft that have made D.C. such a miserable cesspool...

Penalize the criminals to the fullest extent of the law. The laws would serve as a deterent if they were fully enforced!

Enforcement does not mean "no immgration"- it means no "Illegal immigration"

People complain about the government when they don't get what they want from it. The people who hated Bill Clinton cheer George Bush for doing the same thing (i.e. bombing sovereign countries for dubious reasons).

It's the beginning of a fine argument for the elimination of all government, in my opinion.

Gokart said it all, and said it well ... and Pancha as usual on the defensive ... the logic is of course that if you are pro illegals being in our country, then you are pro law breakers ... there really is no way around that one ...
