Thanks for all the answers, some of them made me think, some of the made me laugh... yeah Audrey is hot, I think the idea of female descendent is older than Da Vinci Code book though, it is a fiction. But what about the real thought, there is no proof that Jesus had or didnt have children. Well and then, I believe that all things can improve, make me a bad Catholic, but God forgive me, I wish the dogmas of the Church would take care of people with help of God and not serve its own politics.. well, I hope i dont get excommunicated now ..

Catholics believe that Jesus had no biological descendants, and Catholics believe all Christians who obey the commandments are his spiritual brothers, sisters, and mothers, whether you are Catholic or not. (see Rev 12:17)

If you think Jesus had biological descendants, you are not Catholic at all, but pretending to be in order to discredit Catholicism.

I do not think it is wrong to like the idea of a female descendant of Jesus. However, the Catholic church has strove to make Mary Magdalene a whore, and such and such... Behind every great man, there is a great woman. So why should we disbelieve? Go with what your heart tells you. God,dess will show you the way.
Blessed Be.
P.S. Raised Catholic. Mother Mary always did work well for me...

edit. Paganism is not dangerous, when applied in Love and Light, for all you who do not understand the Old Ways.

Yahweh is an androgenous name. Mary is what you get, though not divine in a trinitarian sense (not God), God's mother can surely be a role model. You would like to believe Jesus had children? Then I say, that I doubt that He would have found it responsible to give His Life up, and then leave earth.

The bible has always taken great pains in presenting children, so I doubt his followers ignored this convention.

It's an interesting idea though I dont believe it. I think sometimes people think it would have been sinful for Jesus to marry and have children but it wouldn't be. I however think it would be nice to have living descendants of Him.

Yes. God is spirit. God has no specified gender; God may not have any gender. He created male and female.

Unfortunately, there is no mentioned that Jesus had a wife. Usually a rabbi does, but if Jesus has one, she is not mentioned.

Furthermore, Jesus' offspring were not mentioned as well.

I would think you would happy with a complete God, a God that is spirit (wind).

No, just makes me wonder what would have happened if a book like the Davinci Code would have been written; lets say about 1900 years ago. Lmao

I like the idea of sprouting wings and flying, doesn't mean it is going to happen though. Jesus was never married and did not have children. Truth is truth. Live in the world of truth and leave the world of fantasy.

Being Catholic, why shouldn't you. Catholics respect the feminine principle through
the Virgin Mary.

There is nothing wrong with personal beliefs, if you are asking is it against your religion, sadly the answer is yes, the vatican insists there is no "holy grail" bloodline of Christ.
