My remote won't work. I got fresh batteries and put them in but they didn't work. I put them in my guitar tuner and they worked. Do I need a new remote? If so where can I get one? I have a Sharp brand TV if that matters.

get a new remote a good one is around $10 to $15

If you changed the battteries and it still does not work, then it is the remote. You need to replace it with a new one. You can get ona at any Circuit City, Best Buy, etc.

go to Walgreens and get a remote for your t.v.,and you can get a universal remote that works for most all brands.

if its a multi-use remote when the batteries get taken out you have to re-program it ( universal)

walmart and get an all-in-one so you can program your satellite, tv, dvd, etc all in one!
