go to a salon- they do lightening hair best. it is pricey, but it gives best results. use a lightened hair shmpoo and conditioner after. try dove. If the black color was a dye too, use a bleach rinse before permanent coloring your hair blonde. it is easier to dye that way.

you are going to have to bleach it at least twice to get it to ash blonde. The first time you will end up with a nasty copper brown, and then the second time should get you to ash blonde. I don't recommend that you do this yourself especially if your hair is already coloured! It is really hard on your hair, and it is difficult to get the colour that you want and have the colour the same throughout your hair- you will definately have to do a test strip to see the results. The last thing that you want is to put the lightener on your hair and then regret it! Blondissima or Herbal Essence are the best home lighteners.

Remember the upkeep required with blonde hair- you will need to touch up your roots every month at least

Well first of all go to a stylist.
And second of all...for such a drastic color change...I would suggest going brown or caramel. Black to ash blond will be so hard on your hair. It will break easy and you ends will split. Itll look pretty bad.
Maybe go brown with natural caramel highlights. That would look really nice.
And anyways black to blond wouldnt turn out at first. It will probably turn out darker than you want. You have to go over time to get it to the color you want with such dark hair.
Good luck!!

For highlights i'd try the Revlon coloration Stylist (i imagine it truly is what it truly is termed). It has do it your self highlights interior of a similar field. earlier you do some thing, do the strand try on the bottom layer so that you comprehend no matter if you've the right coloration or no longer. it fairly is the biggest section. i have been burned by using that when & landed up with black hair (i changed into going brown). so some distance because the kind, have you ever tried layers? Its an fantastically good thanks to replace your contemporary haircut. sturdy success.

Since you want to make such a dramatic change, I'd recommend going to a professional for this. You may even have to lighten it in stages but most home jobs don't turn out well. Save some money and aggravation in the long run and just let a pro do it. =)

Hey... You shouldn't worry about what is better to use... go to the hair dresser because most home blonde dye won't work on black hair but if you are really desperate try peroxide...

You'll have to bleach your hair probably, so that's a whole other issue. But Loreal products work great, there are alot of blonde shades available.

For that drastic a change I would HIGHLY recommend going to a professional hair dresser. Doing that yourself is just asking for trouble, and I bet your hair will turn orange, or it will all burn off.
