The best at home remedy and a good way to make them and your home smell good is orange oil pure orange oil you put in in some shampoo or sprinkle some in a small amount of water and i can guarantee the fleas will die it is VERY VERY SAFE. It has to be pure orange oil and you should be able to find it in health food store or in a place that may make oils but make sure it is pure orange oil no extra stuff added i have used this for many many years it won't keep the them off them for ever so you still need to treat your home and yard but to kill them safe for dogs, puppy's, cats, kittens and ferrets.

now for them being this young i would put a few drops in some water and rub them down with a wash cloath again it is very safe.

I would go to a pet store and get some flea shampoo and bathe those babies. Fleas can eat puppies alive if left untreated. You may need to flea bomb the areas where the puppies have been.

Over the counter flea treatments and shampoos are not recommended for puppies and kittens under 6 weeks old. Contact your vet!!! You should have a 24 hour emergency clinic somewhere in your area. Look in your phonebook and call them. They may be able to advise you over the phone.

hey hun....i hear exactly what your saying....and with them being so young most flea treatments are not an option....i had to treat my puppy once and the best thing that i have found that doesnt involve any chemicals is the RID brand lice combs...you can buy a pack of two (one long comb and one short comb at walmart) for about $7.00 i know that sounds pricey but it ketches the fleas with no problem...just take and set beside the toilet and hold your puppy in your lap and comb his fur....make sure you take and wipe the fleas off in the toilet and that should get rid of them but you will most likely have to treat your carpets to....i hope this helps the poor little guys....it worked wonders for mine....love daisy

LYME or lime can't spell for the yard. After you have treated your yard with flea and tick killer. sprinkle lime in the yard. fleas ticks even snakes don't like lyme. get this at a home and garden center or a feed store

Lavender oil for there beds. just sprinkle a drop and it will keep it out of their beds. it is safe and effective. one drop will do it. fleas don't like lavender

I use frontline or advantage they work about the same for me. it kills the fleas when they bite the dog i don't know if you can use it on this young of a dog though

FLEA COLLAR VACUMN CLEANER. if you have a cannister vaccumn cleaner put the flea collar in the cannister when you vaccumn them up in the cannister it will kill the fleas instead of them finding a way out. I do not put flea collars on my pets though

They're still so vulnerable, I would take them to a vet for treatment. OTC flea medications of any sort may harm or kill them. Good luck!
