Some people are coming back at me like I just insulted the virgin mary or something...this is about facts and numbers and stuff, not about 'beaners' etc...I don't talk like that, think like that, this problem's got reform written all over it, what are your submissions if you have any, for fixing up mexico so they can be independent and successful etc?

I do appreciate your logical approach and I know you are not one of those radicals, you want real solutions.
There is no way to reform Mexico until we can fix ourselves.
We really need to secure the borders, I don't mean build fences, they will just jump over them, trust me.....
The only affective way, I have seen, stop the flow of illegals is through man power.....That is posting agents, every mile, along all the border....
That was the only thing that stopped the invasion in my border town. The local Border Patrol Chief, posted agents, two agents sitting in there SUV's, watching the border with their binoculars, day in and day out.
He was so successful, and seen as a hero in our community, that he was later elected congress for our district.
It will take a lot of man power, but that is what I think will stop the flow....They will not respect a fence, they will respect an agent with a gun sitting there watching them as they attempt to cross over....That's my 2 cents, for what its worth...

Please use the correct term - Illegal aliens.
Yes, some people will come back to you on this, usually just the looney lefties and the illegal aliens.
First, support immigration. I do. The U.S. is a nation of immigrants, and nearly every family is a family of immigrants. Immigrants have always been welcomed here, and always will be.
Illegal aliens have nothing to do with immigration. These people are criminals that have broken our laws. Companies that hire them are also breaking our laws.
We must secure our borders, and companies that hire illegal aliens should be heavly fined.
And I can't wait for November either! Libs will get the butts kicked, again!

My suggestion is instead of concentrating on the illegals. Lets "fix" America first!!!!!!! If and when the time comes to deal with the "illegals" do it then and only then. Every ones wants to spend billions of dollars on deportation but the welfare,social security,and other deficits will and have always been huge It may be a strain but if we spent as much energy on All the problems we see that we can handle the smaller problems.

Must have missed your rant. If you were railing against illegal immigration... good for you! Ship them all back to where they came from! As for Mexico... It's always been a stinking sh**ithole, and will be until the Mexicans clean up their own government... but the US makes it easier for them to swim across the river and INVADE our country.

Mexico needs to reform itself, clearly. It is known to be an incredibly corrupt country. Wall them off, let them figure it out. We already passed NAFTA. They have the opportunity.

no, you sound like you just dont like illegal immigration, which is fine with me. its just that sometimes you jump the gun and insult- for instance i asked about free healthcare in canada, because the firm my husband and i both work for is transferring us there to open new offices, and you bit at me to find a job and assumed the worst. maybe youre a bit abrasive.
