As long you don't mind rotten eggs...
They spoil quicker without refrigeration...
Do you think all the supermarkets would WASTE all that electricity on refrigerating them if they did not HAVE to?

In America eggs come from egg farms. They are scrubbed cleaned, packaged and sold. They NEED to be refrigerated or you risk all kinds of illnesses. Most other places in the world sell their eggs unwashed. They have a natural preservative on them (just as they came out of the chicken) and this allows them to stay fresh unrefrigerated. IF you live in America and buy your eggs directly from a farmer and they are unwashed, you do not have to refrigerate them.

They last a whole lot longer if you refrigerate them. I never knew that about the British. Maybe it's just a quirk of that particular person.

Refrigerating eggs WILL keep them fresh longer. It can also keep them from becoming contaminated if the shells are cracked.

You refrigerate them, because of a thing called salmonella, can be deadly in children and the elderly.

They will last much longer if refrigerated, but you should bring them to room temp before cooking or baking with them.

i think your supposed to refridgerate them, cuz alot of people do keep them in their fridges. and thats where you can find them at grocery stores (in the refridgerated section)...i dont know if they spoil or not if you keep them out, it may just depend on the temperatere or the kind of egg.

I would think so, since you buy them from the market refrigerated.
