Do any girls actually like having a bunch of roses given to them, a guy turning up with a bottle of red wine and a bar of green and blacks choclate (My fav, choclate and wine is sooo good!!)or being taken out for a nice meal at a fancy restaurant.
I just find girls nowadays either want casual sex or full on marriage and there ain't much inbetween.

There are some girls who are old fashioned just like you are. It's really sad that the easy girls have become the new trend. I wish they knew that guys want respectable women and not ones that are a quick easy lay when it is all said and done. You never see a guy take a whore home to mama and papa.
You can also blame your fellow Males. A lot of them coax the girls who are naturally push overs to be more whorish and then when they become that for them, They get abandoned for the girls on the far side of the spectrum.That's what forces a lot of the good girls to ether be at one extreme or the other.

For me, I love old fashioned romance. It lets me know that the guy has a touch of romance and a touch of class. I enjoy being taken out to a nice restraunt for a meal, or roses being handed to me or even a box of chocolates.
I'm not and have never been all about sex. I believe sex is a sacred thing that should happen when married and is truely in love with one another. True love is hard to find and I just happen to be old fashioned so it's hard for me to find a guy that isn't gung ho on sex and everything else this world has to offer.
To be completely honest...I would much rather have a guy who hasn't had sex, who isn't into materialistic things of the world and who has Christian morals and standards. Am I old fashion? Yes I am and proud to be.

I prefer to pursue romance that way myself, and I appreciate a woman that likes that old fashioned romance (flowers, candy, notes, walks in the park, nice meals, quiet conversations, listening to music together, etc). I feel that it shows affection and respect to the woman and indicates that I am truly interested in her, her feelings, thoughts, and emotions, not just her body.
Unfortunately, too many women today are only interested in material things (what car do you drive, what jewelry or gifts you are buying for her, etc.) and know nothing about romance. They do not respect the guy they are seeing nor themselves. Jumping into bed at the drop of a hat because it is an "exercise" and not an intimate experience to be shared. Then they get upset when the guy merely treats them like a sex object instead of a human being.
Good luck to finding a true girl that appreciates you for who you are and loves that good old fashioned romance.

Romance is not old fashioned...it's just the oldest way of wooing for which most people either don't have time for now...or they do not make enough efforts to do the same...it's a fast world and people would just send an sms to invite the girl friend for dinner rather than arrange to send a small card with a flower to invite her...but be assured, it's a beautiful, beautiful thing...will never be out of fashion !

Hmm, wow. It is old-fashioned but guess what? A lot of girls would die for old-fashioned. I know I would. Please do not stop doing what you desire doing to someone you like/love, because we need more men like you!! Some stupid girls today do not know how to be treated and keep the man that slaps them around and has a good thing with being a lousy boyfriend. They realize soon that that's not the way to go. I am a guy that loves to romance a woman. I will romance any woman just to see her smile. I type just as well, but it is hard to find a woman that likes to be romanced on the net. But I will always be romantic. I really do enjoy making a girl smile and feel appreciated. Romance is not old fashioned...but it does seem to be less of a point nowadays. I for one will vote romance forever!

OMG i love it when guys are old fashion i mean thats just me when a guy brings me roses i get the bigest smile it shows he thought about you a little extra. I dont think u necessarily need to be old fashiong just give her attention do something a little extra like hold open her door unless she doesnt want u too. but every girls different and might think old fashion is lame so you be the judge on what to do to what girl

Yes,and being romanced is wonderful. The way to a womans heart is how you treat her. It's not about buying or taking her things,but the special little things you do. Roses are nice, cooking dinner for her, and making her feel special.

Being courted is fun. A lot of relationships do tend to move faster and a lot of that is lost nowadays- whichI think is sad. A lot of girls I know would love a guy they were seeing to do the romantic things for them it seems like you like to do, but it's not a reasonable expectation for most guys so I think most girls don't even expect it anymore.

OMG...NO!...don't you ever think that!!!...even the most independent women...the ones who say that they want casual sex...what a crock of ****!!!...those are the women who are so jaded that they may never come back...women CRAVE romance...give a woman a bouquet of flowers and a chocolate bar...and even if she acts like it's no big deal...look at her eyes...they will dance...if you are romantic...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't EVER stop being that way...even though it might not have paid off for you at the present time...trust me...IT WILL...feed her...brush her hair...kiss her eyelids...hold her hand...open the door for her...tell her that she's beautiful...don't believe those shallow women who say that all they want is casual sex...where is the fulfillment in that?...there is none...find someone who has more self worth...she's out there...believe me...i know...and she is asking herself the same question...but it is in her heart...just as it is in yours...don't let it die...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD...DON'T LET IT DIE!!!...good luck to you
